If you’re a SNAP (EBT) recipient in Fall River\, you can stretch your food dollars even further at participating local farmers’ markets through the Massachusetts Healthy Incentives Program (HIP). HIP provides a dollar-for-dollar match—up to $40 per household per month—on purchases of fresh\, local fruits and vegetables made with your EBT card. There’s no sign-up required\, and the benefit is automatically applied as long as you have a SNAP balance. This is a great way to access healthy food\, support local growers\, and make your SNAP benefits go further. Any Massachusetts household receiving SNAP benefits is automatically enrolled!
