DESCRIPTION:National Night Out is an annual\, nationwide\, community building campaign. It promotes police-community partnerships\, both businesses and residents\, and inspires neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer\, more caring places to live and do business. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore\, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Farmers’ Market! If you’re a SNAP (EBT) recipient in Fall River\, you can stretch your food dollars even further at participating local farmers’ markets through the Massachusetts Healthy Incentives Program (HIP). HIP provides a dollar-for-dollar match—up to $40 per household per month—on purchases of fresh\, local fruits and vegetables made with your EBT card. There’s no sign-up required\, and the benefit is automatically applied as long as you have a SNAP balance. This is a great way to access healthy food\, support local growers\, and make your SNAP benefits go further. Any Massachusetts household receiving SNAP benefits is automatically enrolled!
