Accessibility Statement

Southcoast Public Health Coalition is committed to providing a website that is accessible and usable for as many people as possible. We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are actively working to improve the accessibility, usability, and overall user experience of our website.

Our goal is to follow many of the available standards and best practices for website accessibility, including the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. These guidelines help explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for all visitors.

This website strives to conform to applicable portions of WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA standards where possible. The site has been developed with accessibility in mind, including attention to clear structure, readable content, keyboard navigation, alternative text for images where appropriate, and code that follows modern HTML and CSS standards.

While Southcoast Public Health Coalition works to improve accessibility across the website, there may be areas that are not yet fully accessible or that may not consistently meet every accessibility standard. We are continually evaluating the website and working to identify solutions that improve access for all users.
